Greening Up at the Ranch

A weekend at the ranch is always full of surprises.
I hadn't realized the cactus would be starting to show
new growth and the wildflowers were just coming out.
We don't have our state flower, the Bluebonnet, yet,
but this field of yellow flowers were so beautiful.

As we left the ranch today, I couldn't resist
snapping this picture.
I had some fun with the color on my photos
today, however, in "real life" what we enjoyed
 was just as beautiful.

I am linking to Little Red House
for

Mosaic Monday

Be sure to stop by Little Red House for some beautiful
photography and collages.

Don't you love it when things start "greening" up? Is there ever a more lovely color than the first greens after winter?

A terrific mosaic...very cool. I think playing with color is wonderful. We so need color at the end of winter.

Pictures are so beautiful, but they just can't replace the real thing can they? Looking forward to all the bluebonnets that will soon be in bloom!

What a fun mosaic! We had some rain a few days ago and it did wonders for greening things up here! Happy Monday! ♥
