Carmen in her handmade baptismal bonnet

Carmen

Our granddaughter is now six years old, but I was looking through old pictures and found this picture of Carmen when she was baptised in Mexico. She wore a beautiful dress with a bonnet that her maternal grandmother had made for her. It is not quite the typical bonnet worn by babies in the U.S., however, Carmen looked adorable. This is a favorite picture of mine.

Beautiful!!!

My girls wore the same baptismal gown that my mom and I wore. Now we have to figure out what Garrett is going to wear.

Oh Karen-
She is just beautiful.
What a treat for us both that I get to have grandsons and you have a grand-daughter.
God is so good.

Be home late Sunday night,

Oh Carmen looks so precious and beautiful in her baptismal bonnett! She really does look like a little doll. It's wonderful to look back at our favorite photographs, isn't it? I can see why this one is a favorite!
