Life is too short!

I'm going to take a brief hiatus to regroup a bit.
My nephew's wife passed away yesterday.

There is a need for me to reflect on what has happened
and find a way that I can dedicate some efforts in
April's memory.

April was in a coma for nearly two weeks due to extremely
high fever. On Mother's Day the children bought their favorite flowers and made a bouquet for their mother.

On the way home from the hospital the oldest boy
texted his mother's cell phone,
"Thanks for being the best... have a good trip!"
He is twelve years old.

I want to take time to reflect on what I do with my time
... and what I do not do.

Life is short...
Sometimes too short.

Oh Karen! I am so very sorry for you and your entire family. I lost one of my nieces four years ago and it is just impossible to understand why someone so young is taken. I will be thinking of all of you in the coming days.

How sad for her family. But maybe this is God's message to us-do what we should-don't put it of, life can be short.
