Sunflowers as far as one could see!




These gorgeous sunflowers were amazing! I'm not the best photographer,
so you can't see from these pictures that there were miles and miles... rather acres and acres of them glowing in our hot south Texas sun.

I was just sure I was going to see a happy face
in this sunflower... but I certainly had one
just looking at it.
The sunflower looks a little wind-blown but south Texas winds
are notorious for being brutal.

Even though the song is about corn, I still felt like I was listening to a song
from "Oklahoma"!
