It's "Second Time Around" time ...

I ran this picture once however it was recent and I'm still flying high from my really special find.

This Fostoria American punch bowl

I bought this at an antiques store in Austin, Texas recently for $50. There are twelve cups that go with it, however, they do not all match. Not a problem for me.
It has passed the test for being authentic Fostoria American and I
was amazed that when I started getting estimates on its value it was
close to $200.
If there was anything that has instilled the thrill of the hunt in me...
it is this punch bowl!

What a sweet deal you got on that punch bowl, Karen. I have been looking for something pretty forever! Can you imagine that some people use the plastic variety?! I hope punch isn't going out of style. I love the stuff!! ;-D

Thanks for stopping by today! I love your comment!

Hi Karen, love the bowl. You really made a great buy. I haven't ventured into the Austin antique stores yet. I've gone to several in San Antonio. We have a very nice in New Braunfels, just a few blocks from my house. We need to swap antique store locations.

I will be traveling to RGV this weekend so no antique shopping for me. Be sure to pick-up a good bargin in my honor!

Take care
Yoli :)
