What am I supposed to do with this old lamp "top"?

This was part of a lamp from my grandmother's home. I did at one time have the whole lamp, however, we lost the rest of it in a fire. It is large and just not my "style". I am not even sure if it is a true antique or collector's item. What say you? Is this worth saving?

Use it as a vase. Just put a waterproof container inside it to hold the water.

I was thinking the same thing as Lori....you could use it as a centerpiece for Easter...

If it is special because it was your grandmothers, I'd probably keep it. Maybe another family member would like it some day. It probably doesn't have a function other that to look pretty.

I think its beautiful and for the memory alone I would save it. I'm NOT creative at all but I would find something to do with it.

I would just keep it for sentimental reasons.

I agree ..you should save it because it was your grandmother's .. It's very pretty ..How about putting it on a pretty plate as a centerpiece with a candle flickering in it ..I use the little battery operated votives that flicker just like real tea lights ... I got 20 of them at Costco for about $12.00 .. they even come with extra batteries .. I used them all through the holidays .. I have also seen four for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree.
I say .."save it".

Definitely save it for sentimental reasons. Otherwise, someday, you might regret it. Even though it is just an object, the physical connection to your family member is still there. I agree with the vase idea.
