We have a "head" now, Houston!

Here is the BIG bow almost everyone suggested. My sweet, talented niece came by today and added the bow with the tree topper. Didn't she do a great job? Thanks, DeAnnie!

I loved the bird nest idea and think I will try that next year. Maybe I'll find a real nest somewhere. (I can hear my mother now.. "Watch out for those mites!"  ;-)

It looks beautiful. Don't bother with a real nest. You can make one out of the stringy/mossy stuff from the craft store. No mites there. We hope.

Very pretty. I would just buy nests at the craft store.

Hi Karen! I love your tree topper...so beautiful! Your niece did a great job! I love the nest idea...maybe look at Easter time for fake ones. Your mom and mine must be twins separated at birth...birds have MITES!! lol lol I have handled several this Spring and lived to tell abou it! Did you also get the speech about no Queen Anne's Lace because of chiggers? Have a great weekend...hugs...Debbie

Beautiful! It is perfect, and your tree is so pretty!!!

My tree is in its stand waiting to be trimmed. I am thinking that some hot chocolate and Christmas music would be nice tomorrow afternoon while I decorate it.

Many blessings to you, Karen!

Love,

Andrea
