Christmas 2010
Department 56 - Snow Village
It's finally completed... or rather, it's gone as far as it's going. It's amazing how much time one can spend tinkering with these little buildings!  Now I can hardly wait to show it off to the children in our lives.

Your mosaic is wonderful!!! LOVE all your village posts... WAY back in the 50s and 60s my Mom would make houses our of cartons and they were incredible. EVERYone used to want to come and see her villages... Her very first one was a church. I SURE wish I had them all now! They were SO Special... Hugs to you, Donna

Karen, this is Lovie from Mitford. I love your village! Can there be such a thing as too many bottle brush trees? Have you ever used Snow to Go in settings? I love that stuff and use it with one of my little scenes. It looks and feels just like real snow! I mixed up a big bowl tonight so my grandaughters could just play with it.

What a wonderful snow village collection! They are alot of work, but so worth it when all set and lit up. Yours is amazing and I know the kids of all ages will enjoy every little scene. Great job on the mosaic. That's alot of individual shots of each house. It would make a great puzzle.

Enjoyed browsing your blog, and see you are a Texas Gal. Welcome to Blogland and Merry Christmas!

Hi Karen,

Gorgeous!!! Love the villages and how it brings such sweetness to Christmas.

I will be in RGV for the holidays, so looking forward to some real authentic Tex-Mex food.

Take care,
