This is one of my favorite Department 56 Snow Village pieces. I believe on the bottom it says "1982". This is just one of the pieces that I want to highlight here at Ladybug Creek.
So much fun! I know now why men children love to play with toy trains and setting up displays.
This was a gift from a brother and his wife one Christmas.
Hope you'll check back to see more Snow Village.
Most of the accessories I have for my snow village
were bought at the end of the season when no-one for sure is setting up their village. I even use toy train set accessories
in some of my displays.
I'm sharing this with

I love your snow village, Karen! I haven't gotten any of these yet (from Dept. 56), but I love them! I have a few of their Halloween houses, though...
Can't wait to see it all together!
Hope you're having a beautiful Saturday, my friend!
Julie
Love it dear Karen! I have a small village of mismatched stuff but I love playing with it too:) Have a blessed day and you know I'll be back for more! HUGS!
I am looking forward to visiting your Snow Village. I have Christmas in the City. Since the boys won't be here this year, I decided not to put it up. I miss it already. Once up, it stays up until mid-February at least. I love the villages!
My mantle is long enough and deep enough to hold all 27 churches, houses and buildings along with accessories. Now I'm having trouble deciding how to decorate the 14 foot space!! I think I need to go shopping.
Have a "constructive" weekend.
Best,
Bonnie
Can't wait to see all of your village! This one will always be special to you since it was your first!
Karen-
It is just wonderful.
It looks like you are all set.
have you started baking?
Laura-
Karen, I'll be eager to see more of your snow village. We don't have a village, but it's magical to see these vignettes when they are all set up. ~ Sarah
Aww..what a precious peice, your first. I remember my first, you gave it to me. A beautiful church, I'll forever cherish!
I'm a Village fan!
Hugs,
Nancy
Karen, that is such a pretty piece. I have a village (I'll be sharing it on my blog soon). It has some Dept. 56 pieces, but of course, my village is made up of whatever I find on sale! I can't wait to see your other pieces. Thank you for sharing this charming house for Favorite Things. laurie
