Carmen's Christening
2004
Our granddaughter looked like a little doll in her christening dress and bonnet. Her maternal grandmother had made this beautiful outfit for her.
She was the best little baby during the ceremony as
if she knew it was a very special time.
I have this picture framed on my mantel.
Carmen is our oldest son's daughter.
He and his sweet family live in Mexico.
Thanks to
Faded Charm
for White Wednesday where
we get to share such
special pictures from our lives.

Karen-
She is lovely. You must be so proud.
Are you OK?
Is there anything I can do to help?

It's a stunning christening gown. She was a beautiful baby too. Thansk for sharing.
OMGoodness!! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I appreciate the warning about the oiled lanes - whose idea was that?!?!? Let's oil the floor where people will be walking quickly with heavy balls while throwing themselves off balance.
Love the Christening gown - so precious and you're right - she looks like a little china doll!!
I really appreciate your comments on my last post and I had both chills and a knot in my stomach after reading your story about your Grandfather. Galveston is absolutely one of my most favorite places and every time I go there I mourn for the people who died during that storm. I can't even imagine what they all went through.
Wow! What a wonderful thing to have in the family, to pass on to generations! I love to see hand-made christening and First Communion dresses; they are so special.
My grandmother made the christening dress that my sibs and I all wore, and now my nieces and nephews have worn it also.
Happy WW!
That has to be the most beautiful bonnet I have ever seen and well Carmen is stunning as well
