Asking blogland friends for prayers....
Our dear and close friend, Neal, had a heart attack almost six weeks ago and has been in a coma ever since. He was without oxygen for approximately twenty minutes, so there was considerable brain damage. We went by the hospital today, as we've done nearly every day since this happened, mainly to offer support to his wife, one of my dearest friends. The doctors have concluded that it will not be long now and Neal's battle will be over. He is an amazing man who is a strong Christian, loves his family, his country and his friends. Please keep him in your prayers and pray that his passing be peaceful. He is only 59 years old and had so much more in his life to accomplish. Thank you.

you are a great friend....sending prayers and hugs from Texas
Glad to meet you Karen, but so sorry to hear baout your friend. I will pray for him and his family as they go through this very difficult time.
They certainly have my prayers. It isn't fair. I thought it wasn't fair when I lost Patrick at 63. We were just about to retire and do some traveling, had bought a sweet little motorhome and taken our first trip in it! Ecstatic! We had never been happier! We were like children...and then it was over. He was gone. Your girlfriend and her wonderful husband are in my prayers this evening..and so are you. Our precious friends are Mick and Nedra and were our best friends since highschool. Now there is just the three of us that share the memories.
I am so sorry! SO sorry!
Hugs and love to you,
Mona
Oh Karen!
I'm so very sorry to hear about this! I can't even imagine what you are all going through. You are a dear friend to be there for yuor friend. This has been a crazy month. I know more people who have been in the hosipital and two that have passed away than ever before. Part of the reason I've been away for a bit on my blog because I've been giving support to others as well. I will put Neal and his family in my prayers as well! Big Hugs to you ALL!!!
Nancy
