Before...
Well, more progress today. Why I didn't figure out that the stairs needed to be "wooded" I will never know. But now they are! It certainly looks very "plain Jane" at the moment. I will have to figure out some sort of decor. We'll see what happens...

I love the rich look of the wood. Just a statue or floral arrangement at the landing would break up the wood look if it is too much wood do you. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Karen, The wood looks wonderful. Great job. I have seen on a few blogs where the risers were painted with numbers or greetings even drawings. Just a little to help get the juices flowing in casr you feel the need to embelish.
I think the stairs look great just like they are. Beautiful job.
Boy do I remember going up and down those stairs as a kiddo! Their revamp looks amazing. :o)
