Brown Transferware - I've Only Just Begun

I've just started my brown transferware collection.
I've had a couple of these pieces for a year or so,
but seeing a blog recently that highlighted these
wonderful dishes renewed my interest.
AND I found a place that caught my eye.
I'm hoping to get responses from other collectors and
lovers of brown transferware.

  3. Pretty collection and I especially like the little bone dish. I have a small collection of brown and white and brown polychrome transferware, my favorite being the polychrome. The way you have yours so nicely displayed inspires me to get mine out and do something similar. Thanks for the inspiration.

  11. Last year at an estate sale, I found a set of brown transferware for 8 including cream and sugar for $40.00. I about fainted when I found it because I had been looking for some to begin. I have my eye out at every place I go for any pieces to go with it.I love your pieces, good luck on your hunt. Ann

  14. I adore brown transferware, but I don't have any. My mother had quite a collection that she left to my brother and sister-in-law. I used to enjoy setting the table with her transferware on Thanksgiving when I was a girl!

  15. Hi Karen - it's good to have had a catch-up on your posts. Your transferware collection will be a lot of fun. I've just started collecting the red in the last year and am just about ready to move the growing collection to a larger shelf.
I love that Curry Chicken Salad recipe - sounds delicious!
